Logging in
When you visit the conference website or app, you will need to enter your name and email. You will then receive a verification code. Please check your spam folder; the email will come from Maura Schatz ([email protected]).
Virtual Access Information
Zoom links will be available on the conference website and FDLI Events App. The sessions will go live as soon as they are set to begin.
Asking Presenters Questions
Questions for speakers/moderators can be asked in person or submitted through the conference app and website. Please note that some sessions will only take questions submitted online. To ask questions online, click on “Agenda and Speakers” and then “All sessions” at the top of the home page. Then select the live session at that time and click on the “Q&A” button on the far-right panel, then enter your question for the moderator.
Recordings
Recordings of each session will be available on the app and website once each session concludes.
Resources
Aside from a few exceptions, most documents for sessions will be available on the app and website under the “Resources” tab on the far-right side panel of each session page.
In-Person Attendee Information:
Venue Information
- The conference will take place at The Westin Washington, DC Downtown, 999 9th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001.
- The Westin is two blocks away from the Gallery Place Chinatown metro stop (green, yellow, and red lines). Self-parking is available at the Colonial Parking Garage (connected to the hotel) and costs $35/day. In the event that this garage is full, there are several public parking garages nearby. Please note, FDLI does not validate parking.
Registration
- The FDLI registration desk will be located on the Ballroom level of the hotel. This should be your very first stop upon arrival to the conference, to pick up your conference badge and program guide.
- Registration and breakfast is from 8:15–9:00 AM on October 17, and 8:30–9:00 AM on October 18. Lunch will be provided on both days.
- Please note, your registration badge is required for admittance to all conference sessions and events.
Attire
- Business attire is suggested. Please remember to bring a sweater or light jacket as the meeting rooms may be chilly.
